4 smoked turkey wings 6 c water 1 lb fresh green beans 1 medium onion, chopped Salt and pepper to taste 6 small new potatoes, washed and quartered 3/4 lb okra, trimmed and sliced 1/2-inch thick Kernels from 4 ears corn 1. Put turkey wings and water in pot. cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, 1 1/2 hours. 2. Wash and trim beans. Break into thirds. Add beans, onions, salt and pepper. Simmer, covered, 20 minutes. 3. Add potatoes, okra and corn. Simmer until potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes. 4. Adjust seasoning to taste. Remove meat from bones and return meat to pot. Serve hot.
