Southern Stir-Fry Green Beans

Makes 6 servings

1 1/2 lb fresh green
beans, trimmed
2 Tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1 c chopped pecans
2 Tbsp packed brown
sugar
 
1. Heat olive oil in pan over medium heat.
Sauté garlic 1 minute. 2. Add green
beans; cover, reduce to medium-low and
cook 8 minutes, until tender, stirring
occasionally.
3. When beans are tender, add pecans and
brown sugar; toss. Serve at once.
