Discard tough parts of stems and cook broccoli rabe in boiling salt water for about three minutes or until just tender. Transfer with slotted spoon to cold water bath to stop cooking. Drain well in colander. 2. Sautee garlic in olive oil until golden, about 5 mins. Add broccoli rabe and sautee another 3 to 5 minutes, toss with salt, and serve.
