Glazed Turnips

Makes 6 servings

3 large turnips, peeled
and diced
3 Tbsp butter
2 Tbsp sugar
 
1. Blanch turnips 5 minutes in boiling salted
water; drain. (Do not cook till tender.)
2. Melt butter in skillet over medium-high
heat. Add turnips and sugar. Cook and
stir constantly until turnips become
golden. Serve hot.
