Sauteed Turnips with Spinach

Makes 6 servings

2 Tbsp olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
3 medium turnips, peeled
and cut into matchsticks
1/2 c raisins
3 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
10 oz fresh spinach,
coarsely chopped
Freshly ground nutmeg
Salt and pepper
1. Heat the oil over medium-high heat.
Add garlic, turnip and raisins; cook
about 1 minute.
2. Add lemon juice; cover and cook 3
minutes at medium heat.
3. Stir in the spinach and cook just until
wilted. Sprinkle with nutmeg and salt
and pepper to taste.
